As a Risk Analysis Co-Op, you will support Probabilistic Risk Assessments (PRA) for nuclear power plant systems. You will report to the Risk Analysis Senior Manager and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Nuclear)
- Minimum GPA 3.0
- Complete sophomore year of college
- No relocation assistance provided
Responsibilities
- Evaluate a plant's potential vulnerability to all risk and hazard types
- Review plant operating procedures, system/layout documents, piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), cable routes, and other material to understand plant systems and operation
- Perform database population/management and data analysis tasks using a variety of tools
- Perform code validation testing activities
- Work with global project teams by contributing to technical scope execution and meeting schedule and financial goals
