About The Position

As a Risk Analysis co-op, you will support Probabilistic Risk Assessments (PRA) for nuclear power plant systems. You will report to the Risk Analysis Senior Manager and be located at our Cranberry location. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Nuclear)
• Minimum GPA 3.0
• Complete sophomore year of college
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• No relocation assistance provided

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a plant's potential vulnerability to all risk and hazard types
• Review plant operating procedures, system/layout documents, piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), cable routes, and other material to understand plant systems and operation
• Perform database population/management and data analysis tasks using a variety of tools
• Perform code validation testing activities
• Work with global project teams by contributing to technical scope execution and meeting schedule and financial goals
