The Rising Phoenix Manager will oversee the Rising Phoenix Program at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, focusing on planning, facilitating, and evaluating services for high school students. This role includes managing student recruitment, admissions, and daily operations, while ensuring compliance with institutional policies. The Manager will also supervise staff, coordinate budgets, and teach a First Year Seminar course, all while promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion within the program.

  • Oversee the planning, facilitation, and evaluation of the Rising Phoenix Program.
  • Manage student recruitment and admissions processes.
  • Supervise daily operations and staff, including Rising Phoenix Student Success Coaches.
  • Coordinate program budgets and monitor financial resources for individual cohorts.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate program services and uphold integrity.
  • Develop and document program policies and procedures in compliance with regulations.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with high school partners and other universities.
  • Serve as a resource for school partners, addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Teach sections of the First Year Seminar course for Rising Phoenix students each fall semester.
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Student Affairs, Education, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working with high school and/or college students in admissions, academic advising, or program development.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including supervision and training of professional staff.
  • Experience working with diverse, underrepresented, and first-generation students.
  • Bilingual, preferably in Spanish, Hmong, Somali, or Oneida.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting institutional efforts to create a diverse and inclusive community.
