About The Position

The 9th grade RISE (Realizing Interests through Support and Exploration) program guides students through an 8-month journey on identity discovery and developing social-emotional skills. The RISE Program Coordinator's primary role is to recruit rising 9th graders and plan engaging, age-appropriate curriculum and activities. The coordinator will collaborate with the Leadership Academy Director and team to lead 75-100 students through a program emphasizing Social Emotional Learning, career exploration, college readiness, and executive functioning skills. After the program is complete, the RISE coordinator will guide the students through an interview and application process and narrow down the class to around 40 students to form the next 10th grade LIT cohort.
