About The Position

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a RIP Line Operator , where you'll play a key role in crafting high-quality furniture parts using state-of-the-art computerized RIP saw equipment. Requirements

  • Experience in woodworking or manufacturing preferred (but not required - we'll train the right person!)
  • Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety.
  • Comfortable standing, bending, and moving throughout the shift.
  • Move objects up to and exceeding 200 pounds with reasonable accommodations.
  • Able to wear all necessary personal protective equipment to perform job functions.
  • Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle and move items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Visual acuity corrected to perform job functions.
  • Ability to distinguish color to perform job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a computerized RIP saw to cut and prepare furniture parts.
  • Identify and work with wood species like Cherry, Mahogany, Oak, Maple, Birch, and Veneers.
  • Read and interpret production tickets and part drawings.
  • Inspect parts for quality and accuracy.
  • Perform and log preventive maintenance.
  • Set up and operate machines safely and efficiently.
