Rigid Inspector - 1st Shift
About The Position
The Printpack Rigid team is seeking candidates to fill a Quality Inspector Role in our Williamsburg Facility, reporting to the Quality Lead on 1st shift. The Quality Inspector's main responsibility is to inspect, pack and label product. Hourly pay rate- $17.20 Shift- 7am to 3pm Additional $2.50 an hour when working from 7pm to 7am Main Responsibilities : Support safety initiatives. Model Printpack's Core Values (https://www.printpack.com/core-values/) Inspect, pack and label products Visually detect small defects and classify them according to standard defects Support 5S/ Lean Manufacturing/ PPS initiatives
Requirements
- Ability to work weekends, & Holiday's if necessary
- Ability to lift up to 5 0 lbs. assisted
- Problem Solving skills
- Reading comprehension
- Ability to use computers (Microsoft Word, Excel, email)
- Required to wear hearing protection, safety glasses, hairnet, uniform, and steel toed shoes
- Required to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Bending, lifting, repetitive motion, walking, and squatting
