About The Position

Dewberry is currently seeking a Right of Way Mapping Technician to join our Surveying and Mapping department in the Central Florida. The candidate must be able to work in a team environment as a member of a survey department, assisting in the performance of Right of Way Control Surveys, Right-of Way Maps, Sketches of Description and Boundary and Specific Purpose surveys. Requirements

• Three (3) years of CAD experience preferred.
• Must have a High School Diploma (Minimum).
• Must have strong mathematical skills.
• Must be able to communication effectively.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to pass a driving record check.
• Must pass drug and alcohol test.
• Must be dependable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Mapping manager with all aspects of CAD and map preparation.
• Review field notes for information necessary to prepare maps.
• Prepare alignment references and Certified Corner Record (CCR) forms.
• Perform deed, plat & document research, title & easement review.
• Work in a safe manner and obey all safety regulations.
• Prepare Control Survey, Right of Way Map, Sketch of Description and Boundary survey deliverables.
