The Document Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and organizing documentation related to right-of-way projects, particularly in the context of solar operations. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of project timelines, requirements, and the specific nuances of right-of-way documentation. The Document Specialist will be responsible for handling multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with both company policies and client expectations. Reporting directly to the Documents Supervisor, the Document Specialist will receive guidance on the scope of work and will be expected to adhere to established procedures. In the absence of a Documents Supervisor, the role will report to the LAD Managing Director. The position demands a high level of organization and the ability to manage a significant influx of requests, often with overlapping deadlines. Attention to detail is paramount, as the Specialist will review and analyze title information, maintain ownership records, and prepare easement documents using approved templates. In addition to document preparation, the Specialist will be responsible for scanning and uploading documents into the document management system, ensuring that all data is accurately entered into various databases. The role also involves quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) of documents prepared by other team members, as well as the production of various reports for the Project Manager. The Document Specialist will coordinate with GIS for mapping tracts and will be involved in submitting documents for recording with county offices. Overall, this position is integral to the successful execution of right-of-way projects, requiring a blend of technical skills, organizational abilities, and effective communication.
