Requirements
- HS/GED and 3 years experience with right of way (DOT, transit or utility) or other relevant experience.
- Real estate license, as required by state law.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- INDOT Prequalification for Negotiation
- IRWA RWA/RWP Designation
Responsibilities
- Prepares offer and conveyance documents for property being acquired for transportation or utility projects.
- Reviews title work to determine ownership and encumbrances needing to be cleared, as well as appraisals to understand the basis of the offer and impact to the property.
- Meets or communicates with property owners to negotiate the offer for the proposed right of way. Reports to lead right of way agent for project and/or right of way manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
