About The Position

The Right of Way Agent is responsible for interpreting and reviewing transportation project plans and property title histories, then using the information to draft legal documents for the acquisition of property and easements. In addition to possessing strong written and verbal communication skills, qualified candidates should be highly organized, have experience with property title documents and other real estate acquisition procedures, and be familiar with plans, profiles, cross-sections, and property descriptions.   This position will work in office, with potential for some telework based on the needs of the team.

Requirements

  • Two (2) or more years of experience in real estate, property management, business, sales, or general contracting.
  • One (1) year of experience as a Right of Way Agent I.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with negotiating, property acquisition, or property management.
  • Ability to read plans and understand legal documents.
