About The Position

The Rigging Supervisor first and foremost ensures safety in every aspect of the job. The Rigging Supervisor oversees the coordination of proper rigging support and techniques for all of TNT’s assets including, but not limited to cranes, gantries, cantilever bars, jacks, skates, and forklifts. Requirements

Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Manage own time and the time of others.
Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, organization rules, and the democratic political process.
Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
5+ years of rigging experience
Significant experience working with specialty rigging, including skates, jacks, slides, and gantries.
Creative, innovative, and resourceful thinker.

Nice To Haves

Prior supervisory experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in erecting and operating machines to hoist and convey machinery and equipment.
Work with sales and engineering to assist in planning upcoming work.
Supervise, develop, and manage performance goals for rigging employees.
Develop strategies to improve work processes through standard operating procedures and communication.
Provides leadership to all rigging employees.
Performs other duties as required.
