WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR The Rigging/Packing/Shipping Operator ensures efficient operations in the shipping department . This role supervises and coordinates the activities of workers involved in packaging products and materials for shipment. STRUCTURE The Rigging/Packing/Shipping Operator reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. They work closely with production, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in shipping, packaging, or a related field.
  • Ability to operate hand tools and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect products prior to packaging, returning rejected items to production.
  • Verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments by examining contents and comparing with records.
  • Handle product stencils, rigging, and finishing rafts for final inspection.
  • Pack, seal, label, and prepare materials for shipping using hand and power tools.
  • Weigh and measure ingredients for adhesives and sealants, blending them according to specified formulas.
  • Record information on containers and the amount of product mixed.
  • Deliver adhesives to departments using hand trucks, conveyors, or sorting bins.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
