The position also involves assembling and disassembling incoming equipment for scrap, performing general repairs on the building and property, and supplying labor for various projects. The role may require loading and unloading trucks at job sites and assisting other departments with general labor skills as needed. The working conditions for this position can vary significantly, requiring both indoor and outdoor activities. Laborers must be physically capable of performing tasks in awkward positions or cramped conditions, including confined spaces. The job demands standing, crouching, kneeling, and stooping for extended periods, as well as performing repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling. Candidates should be prepared to work in noisy environments and around equipment that may expose them to odorous fumes, oil, grease, and chemicals.
