Personnel will be providing bolt-up assembly for structural components in a fabrication facility; individual may be required to work outside.
Requirements
- Experience equal to a 1-year as an iron worker, rigger, or certificate of NCCER completion.
- 3-6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess mathematical skills, reasoning ability, and ability to handle the physical demands of the job.
Responsibilities
- Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities.
- Will be required to visually inspect and receive material in all-weather condition.
- Visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings.
- Compare and see differences in the size, shape and form of lines, figures, and objects.
- Selects equipment, figures layout assembly, and installation.
- Selects equipment, lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together for installation.
- Works under immediate supervision.
