About The Position
The Rig Floor Hand will work under the direction of the Well Services Manager and Rig Operator. This individual will be part of a crew that is responsible for the maintenance and day to day operation of the service rigs. Special focus will be placed on performing services on oil and gas wells, general maintenance of draw works, and utilizing rig equipment to safely perform drilling operations. Responsibilities include assisting in loading and off-loading pipe and other items from the truck/trailer to the rig, picking up and laying down tubing, operating crew trucks safely, lifting and installing well head pumps, and performing safety inspections of equipment. The Rig Floor Hand will also document daily log books and participate in safety meetings and trainings.
