About The Position

The Rides Host at Orlando Eye is responsible for delivering enthusiastic, confident, and guest-obsessed service while upholding Merlin Values and prioritizing Health & Safety. This role involves safely operating rides, assisting guests, performing daily ride checks, enforcing height and other restrictions, and reporting safety concerns. The host must thrive in fast-paced, noisy environments, maintain sharp focus, demonstrate excellent teamwork, and communicate clearly with guests and operators, including making PA announcements and assisting with evacuations. Additionally, the position requires keeping attraction areas clean, guest-ready, and adhering to all opening, closing, and breakdown procedures.

Requirements

• 18+
• Fun, friendly, and dynamic personality with top-tier communication & listening skills
• Thrives with large crowds, multitasking guests, and representing the brand proudly
• Comfortable working in loud environments, confined spaces, solo or as part of a team
• Brings high energy and great service—even during repetitive tasks
