This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge and experience in an operations leadership position at Six Flags Great Escape. Interns will network with other college interns and park leaders, oversee members of the Ride Operations Team in a supervisory role, and engage with park management. Interns will also participate in a 'Capstone Presentation' aimed at improving park operations, shadow park Directors and the Park President, and learn from leaders at the hotel and indoor waterpark operation. The role involves ensuring guest safety and enjoyment on rides, maintaining cleanliness in ride areas, and acting as a first responder in emergencies. Interns will also be responsible for training ride operators and ensuring quality control within their assigned crew.
