Ride Attendant – Waterpark & Theme Park Location: Wisconsin Dells, WI Pay: $17 per hour Housing: Optional FREE shared employee housing on‑site (walking distance) English Required Job Summary Ride Attendants support the safe operation of slides, pools, coasters, go‑karts, kiddie rides, and other attractions. You’ll guide guests, enforce safety rules, and keep ride areas clean and organized. This role is perfect for energetic, customer‑focused individuals who enjoy fast‑paced environments and working outdoors. 👉 Learn why Wisconsin Dells is the Waterpark Capital of the World: https://www.wisdells.com/blog-stories/What-Makes-Wisconsin-Dells-The-Waterpark-Capital-of-the-World Waterpark Responsibilities Dispatch guests safely on slides, tubes, mats, and raft rides Monitor landing pools and splash zones Enforce height/weight/safety requirements Give clear instructions at the top and bottom of slides Maintain clean, hazard‑free stairways and tower areas Stay alert and respond appropriately to safety concerns Theme Park Responsibilities Operate or assist with ride controls, gates, and loading areas Check restraints, seatbelts, and safety bars Load and unload guests efficiently Communicate ride rules and safety instructions Monitor ride cycles and report mechanical concerns Maintain clean, organized ride platforms and queue lines Guest Service Expectations Greet every guest with a positive, friendly attitude Answer questions and help nervous or first‑time riders Maintain calm professionalism during busy periods Support a fun, safe, family‑friendly environment Schedule Work schedules vary and may include: Evenings Weekends Holidays Any day Monday–Sunday
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old
- Able to stand, walk, climb stairs, and work outdoors in heat/sun
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Comfortable enforcing rules and giving instructions
- Able to work weekends and holidays
- Dependability: Arrive on time and maintain regular attendance.
- Job Performance: Complete duties quickly, efficiently, and safely.
- Conduct: Follow all worksite rules and regulations. Violations may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
