The right Ride Accessibility Team Member will include equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator. Ride Accessibility Team Member will provide a positive experience for guests with accessibility needs and assist guests in planning their day who would like to participate in our rides and attractions. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to display and live out Lead with Love qualities, strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable. Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities Assist our guests with accessibility needs at the Ride Accessibility Center by showing empathy and respect Effectively communicate with fellow Guests and Hosts using approved communication methods to enforce Safety rules. Ensure our guests understand and comply with the Ride Safety procedures as they pertain to the rides and attractions Properly fill out the boarding pass and review the process at the rides with guests Properly train to follow all centralized measuring guidelines Able to measure a child in a wheelchair that is unable to stand Able to assist guests with double leg amputation at the Center with a fitted harness to determine if they can ride Wild Eagle Able to operate office equipment to include, phone, two-way radio and computer Prepare documentation and written reports using Microsoft Office for daily records Keep the work area clean, stocked, and ready for use always Become familiar with all areas of the park including ride and attraction accessibility entrances React calmly and quickly in stressful/emergency situations Be well groomed and always maintain personal hygiene while on company property Initiate friendly interaction with guests Work varying hours and in different areas when needed, including attractions Always maintain confidentiality Follow all safety standards to include reporting any violation of standards Management reserves the right to change and/or add to these duties at any time
