About The Position

As a Server at The Vista, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests' satisfaction by providing attentive service, making menu recommendations, and delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a server in an upscale or fine dining restaurant preferred.
• Passion for providing genuine hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including wine pairings.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for their dining experience.
• Take and accurately record guests' food and beverage orders, and communicate them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of The Vista's menu offerings, including daily specials and wine selections.
• Strive to create exceptional dining experiences for each guest, going above and beyond to exceed their expectations.
• Work harmoniously with other restaurant staff, including bartenders, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen team, to ensure seamless service and overall guest satisfaction.
• Enhance guests' dining experience by upselling menu items and promoting special offerings, contributing to the restaurant's revenue growth.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, setting up and clearing tables efficiently to accommodate incoming guests and ensure smooth table turnover.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring a safe and hygienic dining environment for guests and team members.
