About The Position

The position involves various cleaning and maintenance tasks within a restaurant environment. Responsibilities include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning and restocking restrooms, cleaning windows, and lining trash cans. The working hours are typically from 9 am to 1 pm.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• No previous restaurant experience required.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and dining room personnel.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Must maintain personal hygiene in accordance with DHEC and company standards.
• Punctuality and regular, reliable attendance.
• Honesty and integrity.
• Have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum floors.
• Sweep and mop flooring.
• Dusting of ledges, artwork, blinds, etc.
• Clean and restock restrooms.
• Cleaning windows/glass surfaces to ensure no fingerprints or marks are seen.
• Bag and haul trash to the dumpster.
• Line trash cans with new trash bags.
• Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
• Prep assigned items when necessary, including measuring and assembling ingredients and preparing recipes and menu specifications in accordance with company standards.
