About The Position

Goldman Sachs is seeking an RIA Custody Client Services Representative (CSR) to join their world-class service team. This role offers the opportunity to gain knowledge about financial markets and investing concepts, enhancing skills for a dynamic career path within the firm. Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) Custody is a new and growing area of the firm, providing a powerful platform for RIAs to perform diversified investing and portfolio management with significant customization. The team is dynamic and entrepreneurial, focused on building digital capabilities for a rapidly growing client base. As an Associate in the best-in-class Service Team in Dallas within the Goldman Sachs Advisor Solutions business line, the individual will serve as the dedicated relationship manager for multiple business-to-business clients, ensuring their overall satisfaction. This involves building meaningful relationships through outstanding client service and problem-solving, and helping to drive service strategy across the department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 2 years’ client service experience, preferably in financial services, retail brokerage or at an investment advisory firm.
  • Series 7 & 63
  • Proven relationship management experience that has driven business growth.
  • Maintains a high degree of creativity and independence in projects and problem solving.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, employees, and clients.
  • Ability to take the initiative and prioritize tasks, good time management, problem prevention and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical skills including word processing, spreadsheet capabilities and the ability to support our clients as they utilize our web-based products.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of relationship or account management experience preferred.
  • CRM or salesforce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Primary contact for incoming and outgoing calls from/to Advisors and end Clients
  • Demonstrate strong industry and operational expertise over assigned business segment, such as investment and banking products and services.
  • Ability to communicate complex information or ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner to achieve client objectives.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well in difficult situations.
  • Collaborate effectively across other teams within the business to build relationships for a better understanding of other functions within the business.
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand internal risk with external needs while remaining an advocate of the voice of the client, resulting in win-win outcomes.
  • Develop clear and concise procedures to enhance operational efficiency and overall phenomenal client experience.
  • Assist in project work, as needed.
  • Log advisor feedback via complaints (Salesforce), firm feedback tracker, etc., and escalate to management for project prioritization.
