About The Position

UNC Physicians Network seeks a Rheumatology Physician at our UNC Health Multispecialty Care at North Lumberton clinic. The position offers a great work-life balance with an outpatient schedule from Monday to Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and Friday from 8 AM to 12 PM, with no call responsibilities. The physician will supervise one APP who is well-experienced in rheumatology and will have access to peer rheumatologists as well as primary care and a broad range of specialists within the UNC Physicians Network. The position utilizes EPIC EMR and offers medical student and resident teaching opportunities.

Requirements

• Completion of ACGME accredited Rheumatology Fellowship
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Rheumatology
• Successful record of clinical and service excellence
• Licensed as an MD or DO in NC or eligible

Responsibilities

• Supervise one APP experienced in rheumatology
• Provide outpatient care with no call responsibilities
• Utilize EPIC EMR for patient management
• Engage in medical student and resident teaching opportunities
