Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Rheumatologist to join our outpatient practice in the vibrant Kempsville area of Norfolk, Virginia. Requirements

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Rheumatology
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care

Responsibilities

  • Full-time, outpatient-only Rheumatology position
  • Work alongside 4 experienced physicians
  • Manage an established patient base with a waiting list for rapid panel build
  • Participate in call rotation of 1:5 weeks with minimal outpatient after-hours call
  • Utilize e-Consults for inpatient call
  • Provide care for a broad case mix of rheumatic and autoimmune diseases
  • Conduct onsite infusion, ultrasound, Dexascan, and laboratory tests
  • Average of 25 patients per day
