About The Position

The Rheumatology Assistant Professor will provide medical care to Rheumatology patients and serve in a clinical educator role. This position specializes in Rheumatology and includes the responsibility for the education of residents and medical students who provide care for inpatients. The Assistant Professor will also provide consultative services for patients cared for by other faculty members at KU Medical Center and will contribute to various research, educational, and clinical initiatives related to areas of interest and expertise.

Requirements

  • Education: MD/DO; Board Certified in Medicine, Board Certified/Eligible in Rheumatology

Responsibilities

  • To provide excellent care for Rheumatology patients
  • To teach and supervise Rheumatology Fellows and rotating Residents and Students
  • To initiate and engage in clinical research projects
