This role will be a 12-month secondment responsible for supporting strategy and execution for Consumer and Access Health Equity Initiatives across the Rheumatology and Gastroenterology franchise in the US. The franchise has made significant investment in leadership initiatives focused, in part, on advancing the cause of women in positions of leadership in Rheum and GI and growing and evolving our Rheum and GI Framework for Change. The Framework for Change is a multifaceted approach to addressing healthcare disparities that impact vulnerable populations living with Rheumatic diseases and IBD. We aim to help historically underserved patients receive quality, culturally conscious care – especially early in the disease lifecycle. The secondee will need to partner closely with the Pfizer Rheum and GI cross-functional team, and with trusted community organizations and other relevant external stakeholders. This role will collaborate with members of the Rheum and GI Marketing, Thought Leader, Strategic Customer in the US and globally to support the development of key consumer and access health equity initiatives (e.g., educational, awareness and outreach resources) designed to address unmet needs in Rheumatology and IBD and establish Pfizer as a leader in the Inflammation and Immunology space. This role requires a passion for patients and health equity; a keen ability to problem-solve and think boldly; strong communication, project management and execution skills; adaptability and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. The role will report to the US Rheumatology and Gastroenterology Leadership and Health Equity Team Lead.
