About The Position

The Rhapsody Development and Support position involves working with the Rhapsody integration engine to enhance and maintain its functionality within State Department of Health agencies and public entities. The contractor will be responsible for architectural design, software development, and project management, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while collaborating with various stakeholders to implement necessary updates and support plans.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience working with the Rhapsody integration engine in State Department of Health agencies and/or public entities.
• Minimum of three years of experience implementing HL7 2.X data interfaces complying with CDC / CMS Promoting Interoperability standards, HL7 CDA Clinical Document Architecture (CDA) eICR standards, and Electronic Test Orders and Results (ETOR) standards.
• Experience in project management and oversight of integration efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a plan for Rhapsody architecture and coding updates and enhancements in collaboration with MSDH OHIT and other Rhapsody users.
• Create a Rhapsody resource plan and support plan for supporting OCD program-level interoperability efforts.
• Provide Rhapsody architecture and coding services to implement required changes to stabilize the existing instance of Rhapsody.
• Manage and oversee all project efforts related to Rhapsody enhancements.
