The RGM Manager for Independent States at Diageo is a pivotal role that reports directly to the RGM Director, Independent. This position is responsible for overseeing the business performance across four states, each presenting unique dynamics and challenges. The RGM Manager will assist market business performance leads and drive accountability with distributor partners to effectively implement the Revenue Growth Management (RGM) agenda. Collaboration is key in this role, as the manager will work closely with central RGM team partners, including the strategy group and systems team, to ensure alignment and efficiency in operations. Additionally, the RGM Manager will coordinate with the Center of Excellence (COE) to manage tactical elements of the role, which includes reporting, reconciliation, and providing analytical support where necessary. In terms of performance management, the RGM Manager is tasked with delivering RGM value through pricing and mix strategies that surpass industry standards. This includes leading the development of annual FOB pricing, discount plans, and promotional calendars. The manager will implement national pricing directions for both headline prices and promotional guidelines, facilitate monthly financial reviews, and ensure that the team utilizes a system-based Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) tool for data-driven decision-making. The role also involves managing the development and communication of price changes and promotional calendars to both internal personnel and distributors, ensuring timely payments of Distributors' DA payments. On the analytics front, the RGM Manager will build insightful monthly analyses of pricing results, review trends and competitive activities to identify pricing opportunities or risks, and drive deal-level analytics. This includes conducting project-based analytics and scenario planning to make informed pricing recommendations. The manager will also resolve distributor inquiries related to pricing processes and reporting analytics. In terms of systems management, the RGM Manager will maintain frontline price changes, support the pricing calendar, and manage suggested price models and local pricing data across multiple systems, including VIP/DO, RM/Anaplan, MSBI, and AIP/Qlik.
