About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced RFP Team Member to join our Strategic Operations team within the Global Public Sector Business Unit. This role involves leading the bid process for assigned bids, developing and managing all aspects of the bid lifecycle, and creating high-quality bid content. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bid management principles, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with remote teams. This is a remote position, with a preference for candidates located in the Central or East Coast US time zones.

Requirements

  • Broad knowledge of Salesforce applications or transferable experience with similar cloud-based solutions such as Microsoft or Oracle.
  • 5+ years of experience in proposal development/bid management roles responding to government solicitations under direct and indirect contracting models.
  • 5 years of experience in the technology consulting industry in a writing role supporting government organization responses.
  • Experience with technical writing for SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS solutions.
  • Proficiency in writing and editing persuasive, accurate, and compliant proposal content.
  • Ability to create new content from internally available collateral and tailor it to meet specific client requirements.
  • Experience utilizing and maintaining a natively built content library for reusable assets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Gdocs, Gsheets, Gchat).
  • Self-motivated to excel in a remote position, collaborating effectively with a remote team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work occasional overtime if necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience with proposal management software such as Loopio or Qvidian.
  • APMP certification and/or PMP certification.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert for public sector marketplace processes related to formal RFx responses and other proposals.
  • Support RFx Requests & Go/No Go triage operations and processing activities for requests through the RFx Program.
  • Coordinate and develop content responses for public sector tenders, RFIs, RFPs, and other procurement documents for SaaS/PaaS solutions.
  • Develop bid/response plans and schedules for all phases of the response development process.
  • Manage and track all aspects of content preparation, revision, and submission.
  • Collaborate with sales, solution engineering, security, legal, and compliance teams, and coordinate with responding partners as required.
  • Structure, write, edit, and format response content tailored to customer requirements in a creative, compelling, and compliant manner.
  • Participate in developing written questions for procurement officials and stay updated on amendments and modifications.
  • Educate internal teams on the RFx process.
  • Create and manage RFx boilerplate content repository and library of completed responses in multiple languages.
  • Develop and write proposal win themes and executive summary sections.
  • Build relationships and work cross-functionally with diverse business partners.
