About The Position

Downtown Wichita is seeking proposals for a Clean Team Ambassador Program to enhance public space management in downtown Wichita, KS. The program aims to provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and businesses. The contract will be for one year with options for two one-year renewals. Proposals must detail qualifications, management and operational plans, staffing, and a cost proposal, among other requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in providing comparable public space management services.
• A management plan detailing project supervision and senior management involvement.
• An operational plan responding to the Scope of Services.
• At least three references from downtown management organizations.
• A detailed cost proposal including staffing, equipment, and operational costs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a daily recommended deployment schedule for Clean Team services.
• Provide dynamic scheduling among team members based on special events, weather, and pedestrian volume.
• Power wash sidewalks and maintain storefronts and building facades.
• Remove illegally dumped materials and restore public fixture surfaces.
• Document and remove graffiti and unauthorized signage.
• Provide setup, cleaning, and teardown support during downtown special events.
• Track performance metrics and report to Downtown Wichita.
