The RFP Analyst at Taylor Corporation is responsible for managing and supporting projects related to RFPs, pricing strategies, and operational efficiencies across the TPI platform. This role involves collaboration with various internal teams to ensure timely completion of pricing projects and the development of effective pricing strategies.

  • Acts as the single point of contact for assigned projects, RFP's or market pricing.
  • Gathers pricing by using quoting software, sending requests for return pricing.
  • Responsible for generating pricing spreadsheets and assisting with the development of the pricing strategy.
  • Ongoing evaluation of pricing needs, developing processes that support business and client needs, and execution of delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, operations and leadership to align pricing strategy and approvals.
  • Assistance in providing metrics to measure progress and successes.
  • Partners and gains alignment with business leadership on pricing strategy and submission.
  • Develop and maintain connections with facility management and estimating teams.
  • Ensure proper and useful visual standard metrics are in place and up to date to track work.
  • Analyze vendor pricing and provide direction as to best methods of print production and best value vendors.
  • Work with leadership to effectively coordinate personnel and work groups to handle the flow of estimates.
  • Maintain a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to lead others through fast paced data driven environments
  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong analytical aptitude, as well as written and verbal communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Excel in V-lookups, data sorting and filtering and advance function utilization
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects along with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to address issues quickly and decisively: takes initiative and is a self-starter
  • Ability to build and maintain strong cross functional partnerships
  • Must be flexible, adaptable, and able to work in an entrepreneurial environment
