About The Position

The RFP analyst will be responsible for supporting the completion of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) with the guidance of the Proposal Administrator. In this role, the RFP Analyst is expected to create accurate, compelling, and client-focused responses to RFPs. They will partner closely with commercial executives and subject matter experts to tailor the message to the target audience to ensure the message is concise. In addition, the team member will be accountable for developing and maintaining the proposal content library, including a historical archive of past proposal responses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (Communications, English, Finance, Business Administration) required
  • Experience using and maintaining RFP software required
  • 2+ yrs. proposal and marketing writing experience
  • Advanced software skills in MS Word templates, MS Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Professional
  • Creative problem solving
  • Strong editing skills, ability to comprehend and organize complex information according to requirements, ability to retrieve records and understand database structure
  • Experience in the healthcare industry/information technology
  • Knowledge of revenue cycle management

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the build and implementation of a proposal management solution
  • Production and internal distribution of draft and final versions of RFPs
  • Research, coordinate, and produce responses to RFPs (Request for Proposals), RFIs (Request for Information), and RFQs (Request for Quotes)
  • Adhere to corporate branding and integrate corporate guidelines into RFP materials
  • Interact with internal information providers
  • Timely execution of proposals and follow-up
  • Produce final hardcopy binders, as required, through a third-party production company
  • Maintain MS Word proposal response templates
  • Create competitive responses to RFP/RFI documents and maintain a response database
  • Monitor activities around content record creation and maintenance
