RF Test EngineeringIntern Role Overview: As a member of the MACOMLinear Modules and Systems team, the RF Test Engineering Intern will workalongside experienced engineers who will provide mentoring, guidance, andintroductions to colleagues. This Internship withMACOM will help the Intern gain valuable work experience in a key discipline,build professional relationships, and take ownership of a business-criticalproject. During the 12 weeks eachIntern will: > Begiven an individual and well-defined project with set outcome goals > Gainhands-on design and testing experience > Receiveprofessional training and ongoing supervision > Beinvited to attend an intern webinar series > Attendnetworking/social events > Attendand present at Poster Session about each Interns project successes and pitfalls > Receiveformal, written feedback

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, with interest in RF or Electromagnetics.
  • Due to ITAR regulations, onlycandidates who are U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, or individuals granted asylum or refugee status) will be considered for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of RF test equipment (spectrum analyzer, network analyzers, signal generators).
  • Previous lab, or hobbyist type electronic experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with ADW or AWR Microwave Office desirable.
