Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. Come build your career with BAE Systems. The EA will be responsible for performing routine and varied tasks to ensure that production standards are met. Sets up, calibrates, tests and troubleshoots production assemblies. Projects may range from simple to complex. Provides quality and/or technical support to engineers on a variety of quality and technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and proposed engineering design changes as well as qualitative and quantitative data to assure that design is effectively translated to respective process planning artifacts in support of manufacturing builds assuring quality products are effectively tested, inspected and delivered to our customers. Produces various engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Performs detailed mathematical calculations, where appropriate, using established formulas: preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency: and quantitative judgments concerning technical data.
