Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
  • BA/BS and 12+ years of experience; Masters and 10+ years of experience; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience developing RF link budgets, performing RF interference analysis and validating technical performance of RF systems
  • Knowledge of communications systems theory
  • Knowledge of NTM systems and capabilities
  • Demonstrated expertise of communications waveform design concepts/techniques to include:
  • Low probability of Intercept (LPI)/Low probability of detection (LPD) signal detection
  • Forward error correction
  • Modulation
  • Interference mitigation

Responsibilities

  • Validate technical performance of RF systems.
  • Support test and evaluation activities, and ensure successful integration of systems within the client’s operational environment.
  • Analyzing Radio Frequency capabilities for various operations.
  • Design and validate RF link performance, quality, and reliability.
  • Perform RF interference analysis and make recommendations
  • Provide Systems Engineering activities to support acquisition and development of leading-edge communication subsystems
  • Perform end-to-end trade-off analysis of RF systems
  • Aid in validation of new waveform specifications
  • Develop and present technical reports, perform modeling and simulation of RF propagation.
