As an RF Systems Engineer II, you will play a key role in the design, analysis, integration, and validation of cutting-edge RF systems. You will collaborate with senior engineers and architects to ensure high-performance, scalable, and mission-tailored solutions.

  • Involved with the analysis, design, development and implementation of new and/or existing systems/sub-systems.
  • Determine system specifications.
  • Support acquisition of hardware and software (or subcontractor services as needed).
  • Responsible for technical activity and completion of assigned task on time and budget.
  • Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems or subsystems.
  • May use computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software in the performance of assignments.
  • Report of progress and status regularly.
  • Review customer specifications and requirements, and under direction, develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable.
  • Provide budget, cost and schedule input for design assignments.
  • Specify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems and services.
  • Support the program design to cost and design for manufacture requirements.
  • Develop prototypes to retire key development risks.
  • Communicate clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required.
  • Participates in preparation of less-complex proposals.
  • May provide technical knowledge and assistance to other engineers and support personnel.
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization.
  • Attend appropriate engineering, customer or business meetings.
  • Contribute to the architecture, design, and performance analysis of RF and SIGINT systems.
  • Perform system modeling, RF performance simulations, and trade studies to guide design decisions.
  • Conduct design analyses and calculations, evaluating parameters such as dynamic range, signal integrity, and noise performance.
  • Develop and execute test plans, perform system integration activities, and analyze test data to verify compliance with system requirements.
  • Support the development of modular and open-standard architectures for scalable mission applications.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, software, and test teams to ensure successful system integration.
  • Prepare technical documentation, presentations, and reports to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Contribute to ongoing research and innovation efforts in RF technology, supporting the organization's leadership in SIGINT systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in RF systems engineering, communications systems, or signal processing.
  • Strong understanding of RF systems, signal processing, and/or electromagnetics.
  • Competent technical expertise and application domain knowledge.
  • Experience with modeling, simulation, and analysis tools such as Ansys, MATLAB, SPICE, Python, or similar.
  • Working knowledge of linear algebra, probability & statistics, differential equations, and Fourier analysis in the context of RF system design.
  • Hands-on experience with system integration, testing, and troubleshooting in lab environments.
  • Familiarity with open-standard architectures and modular design principles.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
