Skyworks is seeking a talented RF SiP BAW/SAW Acoustic Filter Design Engineer to join our innovative team. This position is critical in the development of high-performance analog and RF semiconductors, specifically focusing on the design and integration of acoustic filters for various applications, including automotive and IoT. As a member of the Module Design Team, you will engage in the entire lifecycle of RF/Microwave SiP Acoustic Filter design, from concept through to delivery. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of cutting-edge wireless module solutions that are essential for the next generation of wireless platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for designing BAW-based duplexers, quadplexers, and other filters tailored for broad market applications. You will also design evaluation boards and RF modules to optimize filter performance, conduct electromagnetic modeling of filters within their module environments, and integrate filters into front-end modules. Your responsibilities will include laying out photo masks, completing necessary documentation for filter fabrication, and assembling, measuring, de-embedding, and reporting on the performance of filters and filter modules. Additionally, you will participate in and conduct design reviews, contributing to BAW stack development. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in BAW filter design, with a solid understanding of device physics and advanced modeling techniques. You will need to demonstrate proficiency in EM and RF simulation tools such as HFSS, Cadence, ADS, and AWR, as well as fluency in RF device characterization techniques and associated test equipment. Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and problem-solving capabilities are essential for success in this role. Experience in module integration and multiplexing is a plus, and periodic online meetings with our international team will be required.
