About The Position

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking an RF Sensor Hardware-in-the-Loop Engineer to support the integration and testing of hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) systems. This role involves leading complex integration tasks, generating testbed definitions, designing hardware interfaces, and troubleshooting failures in the lab. The engineer will work closely with a multi-discipline team to ensure successful HWIL integration for the Sensor Integrated Product Team (IPT).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience operating complex RF test equipment including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes.
• Experience designing, integrating, and operating real-time, closed-loop HWIL simulators.
• Active Secret Security Clearance with a current 5-year investigation.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Working knowledge of copper & fiber ethernet topologies and implementation of time keeping services such as IRIG-B and GPS.
• Experience with Configuration and Data Management (CDM) of Hardware and Software.
• Experience with GPS simulators (Spirent).
• Experience with Linux.

Responsibilities

• Lead HWIL tasks including generating testbed definitions using Lockheed Martin's Common HWIL architecture.
• Design hardware interfaces and simulations for HWIL systems.
• Set up and perform tests on HWIL integration benches.
• Review test data and troubleshoot failures in the lab.
• Support program meetings and provide project status updates.
• Interface with a multi-discipline, intra-business area, cross-site team.
• Lead the integration of HWIL for the Sensor Integrated Product Team (IPT).
• Use lab equipment to troubleshoot hardware/software failures in support of HWIL integration and testing.
