Parsons is seeking a talented Senior Engineer / Software Developer to join our Defensive Threat Systems Modeling and Simulation (M&S) team supporting the warfighter and prominent acquisition and intelligence programs within the Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC). The candidate will be part of a team performing modeling and simulation of defensive weapon systems of peer/near-peer adversaries. The principal focus will be on missile systems comprising RF sensors; target acquisition and tracking; 6-DOF missile flyout, command, and seeker endgame; network-centric warfare techniques; command-and-control (C2/C4); and advanced RF techniques. The role includes analysis of fielded and emerging SAM systems; hardware and software assessments; prototyping of radar platforms, missile seekers, and datalinks; passive RF detection; electronic support and attack; and development of medium and high-fidelity production models using STIMS 2.0 TMAP, STIMS 3.0 TMAP, and LIVE modeling standards/frameworks. The Parsons team supports a customer providing a critical role in our nation's defense by assessing, developing, and bringing together intelligence-backed, medium- to high-fidelity threat system models from across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise into an integrated wargame simulation environment.
