About The Position
KBR is seeking a highly qualified RF Payload Engineer to provide support for the NRO Mission Operations Directorate (MOD). The MOD operates, maintains, and reports the status of intelligence satellites and their associated ground systems. This includes providing defensive space control and space protection, monitoring satellite flight safety, and offering space situational awareness. The role involves supporting innovation labs that are developing new tools, models, and algorithms to operate and exploit satellite space and ground systems. As an RF Payload Engineer, you will leverage your in-depth experience and knowledge of NRO SIGINT satellite systems, payloads, and operational characteristics to support both MOD lab innovations and advanced mission operations support. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the effective functioning of satellite systems and contributing to the overall mission success of the NRO.
