  • Drive RF system architecture, requirements and validation requirements based on product requirements.
  • Design, model, simulate, and analyze RF systems for optimal cost/performance/size tradeoffs to meet overall system requirements.
  • Develop transceiver line up, frequency planning and RFIC performance targets.
  • Interface, evaluate and collaborate with third party chipset vendors on their product roadmap and offerings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful RF system implementation.
  • Drive RF new technologies for adoption to Facebook products.
  • Prototype and debug new RF systems in the lab.
  • Correlate measured data with system models.
  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Experience with transceiver architectures and their impairments.
  • Experience with RF system level simulation tools (e.g. MATLAB, Simulink, SystemVue, ADS).
  • RF architecture, RF link budget and co-existence analysis.
  • Regulatory requirements (e.g. FCC).
  • RF system level simulations and architecture/optimization.
  • Experience in wireless standards and how they impact RF/PHY requirements.
