About The Position

Additional information can be found at www.ttm.com Scope: We are looking for talented and highly motivated individuals to assist our RF/microwave engineering team with the design and development of leading-edge products for military and space-based applications. Under direct supervision, you will design and simulate RF/microwave components and circuits and gain knowledge in RF design, manufacturing, and test of microwave products.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge and strong interest in microwave theory.
  • Ability to design experiments, analyze the data and conduct structured problem solving.
  • Basic understanding of AutoCAD, HFSS, and circuit simulation and modeling tools.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office and MATLAB.
  • Actively pursues opportunities to expand job-related knowledge.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Education: Currently enrolled in a BS/MS/Ph.D. EE or Computer program
  • Experience: Strong physics and mathematics courseload.

Nice To Haves

  • Electromagnetics coursework preferred.
  • 3D modelling experience desired

Responsibilities

  • Work with other interns, test engineering, and engineering technicians on specific program tasks including test procedure development, test station development and data reduction software.
  • Perform review before design release.
  • Prepare presentations for gated design reviews.
  • Design and evaluate test circuits.
  • Understand manufacturing approach and limitations.
  • Design and evaluate components using available design and layout tools.
  • Follow established standard design process.
  • Provide nominal simulation results along with tolerances analysis.
  • Correlate expected performance with test results.
  • Perform data reduction and present results in a clear and concise manner.
  • Support MRB (Material Review Board) process.
