Requirements

• 7+ years of related experience working in the electronics field.
• 5+ years troubleshooting and repairing RF devices.
• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience testing electronic products.
• Ability to read schematics and understand electronic circuits.
• Familiarity with common test equipment and troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to follow a test procedure and complete necessary paperwork.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office for documentation creation, and modification.
• Must be able to obtain a US Top Secret Clearance
• Must be a US Citizen

Nice To Haves

• Hands on experience setting up and working with RF test set ups.
• Experience using Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers and RF test equipment.
• Experience RF transmitters, RF receivers, and amplifiers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and debugging of RF devices, down to component level.
• Run tests on Viasat products and report results.
• Performing RF testing; installation, set-up, tuning and data analysis.
• Assist in building, troubleshooting and maintenance of Specialized Test Equipment used in product Assist in documentation writing, such as Assembly Drawings, BoM’s, Wiring Diagrams, ATP's, etc.
