ST is excited to welcome an RFC - Field Application Engineer Intern at our office located in Santa Clara, CA. During this internship, you will be involved in the characterization of ST's RF products such as 60Ghz V-band short range contactless connectivity transceiver (ST60). ST60 applications are very wide: From GPIO tunneling to Gbits/s applications like Display Port(DP), not to mention USB2, and rotating contactless solutions. You will work with a variety of skilled professionals, closely collaborating with other FAE and RF designers.

  • Collaborate in the preparation and performance evaluation of ST's RF products such as ST60 and others using different platforms and nontraditional transmission lines.
  • Collaborate in bring-up and validation of new testing equipment tools.
  • Working towards a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Preferred experience in debug and lab instruments (Oscilloscope, BERT, Spectrum Analyzer, …).
  • Preferred experience in mWaves RF technology.
  • Preferred experience in SERDES architecture (TX, RX, Jitter decomposition, Equalization, …).
  • Preferred experience in PCB Schematics / Layout.
  • Serial Interface standards (Display Port, USB).
  • Python / high-level scripts understanding.
  • 3D printing experience.
  • Base hourly rate range for this role is between $32 and $43 USD.
