About The Position

To complement our team, we are looking for a customer- and teamoriented individual for our division Plasma Control Technologies at the San Jose site as a RF Engineer For over 75 years, we have been following our curiosity. In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets. What you will do: Develop models for RF systems using tools such as MathWorks and Matlab Perform RF electromagnetic simulation using tools such as HFSS/Q3D Document design ideas to build internal technology Wiki pages Analyze and verify test results and improve test fixtures when needed Assist in the development of internal IP & technology roadmaps Assist product teams to build and create world class auto-match products for the semiconductor plasma processing market segment

Requirements

  • Masters's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering; Ph.D. preferred
  • 2+ years of RF circuit, RF VI sensor, directional coupler, filter, power divider or antenna design experience
  • Must have deep understanding of RF measurement system
  • Must have deep understanding of lumped and distributed-parameter circuit models of the Electromagnetic structures
  • RF circuit design for MF to VHF band (300KHz~300MHz)
  • Must be able to work effectively in a highly interactive team environment
  • Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop models for RF systems using tools such as MathWorks and Matlab
