Overview We are seeking an experienced RF Engineer to design, optimize, and modernize carrier-grade wireless networks across CBRS, 5–6 GHz, and 18–80 GHz bands. This role is suited for an engineer who excels at improving legacy networks, balancing performance with cost efficiency, and translating complex RF designs into actionable guidance for field and operations teams. Strong collaboration and clear communication are essential. Key Responsibilities Design and optimize P2MP networks in CBRS and 5–6 GHz, and P2P networks in the 18–80 GHz spectrum. Improve legacy network performance through innovative, cost-effective RF solutions with minimal operational disruption. Perform RF path analysis, link budgets, propagation modeling, and capacity planning using industry-standard tools. Integrate regulatory requirements (FCC rules, PCN, CBRS SAS) into RF designs and workflows. Evaluate design alternatives with a focus on cost, ROI, and long-term sustainability. Deliver installation-ready designs for field teams, including mounting, alignment, cabling, power, grounding, and environmental considerations. Define and validate monitoring, alarming thresholds, and network health indicators. Troubleshoot RF performance, interference, and environmental issues across modern and legacy systems. Assess site constraints including real estate, structural limitations, and regulatory boundaries. Collaborate with engineering, implementation, and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration. Contribute to automation or scripting efforts that improve RF design, monitoring, or configuration processes.
