About The Position

You will be the RF Engineer Sr, Datalinks - Level 3 for the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) Hardware Team which is responsible for supporting Communication, Navigation and Identification (CNI) systems on F‑16 aircraft. What You Will Be Doing As the RF Engineer Sr, Datalinks - Level 3 you will be responsible for leading the design, integration, and production of Datalinks subsystems that keep F‑16s connected and mission‑ready. Your responsibilities will include: Support design, development, integration, test, and production of Datalinks subsystems for F‑16 programs. Interface directly with external suppliers and customers to ensure seamless subsystem delivery. Provide technical leadership to resolve all issues encountered in the F‑16 Datalinks subsystem. Develop and maintain subsystem specifications, test methods, and documentation. Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative, results‑focused team environment. Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM related discipline.
  • Experience with development, production or sustainment of Datalinks and/or CNI systems.
  • Experience with hardware and software integration and troubleshooting of avionics subsystems
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
  • The selected candidate must possess an active Interim Secret clearance to start.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with external and internal teams to identify, determine root-cause, and resolve datalinks technical failures
  • Experience and/or familiarity with MIL-STD-6016 Link 16 tactical data link as it pertains to fighter aircraft
