Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Senior Staff RF Engineer to join our team in Littleton, CO! Come join the Lockheed Martin Space Radio Frequency (RF) Talent Center (RFTC) team and shape the future! You can join our mission and contribute to challenging programs in support of Space Vehicles, Hypersonics, Human Space Flight and Interplanetary Missions, Missile Defense, and more. As a Senior Staff RF Engineer within Lockheed Martin Space, you will perform the following: Support multiple phases of RF product lifecycle including design, development, test, and deployment Engage with other leaders and Subject Matter Experts to participate in design reviews and provide feedback/input on RF systems and hardware designs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful development and deployment of RF systems and hardware Example assignments include Design, test, and troubleshoot RF hardware systems, including prototype and deliverable hardware. This position has a travel expectation up to 25%.

Requirements

Experience in design, RF hardware systems, prototype development and/or developing deliverable hardware.
Familiarity with M-Code and GPS receivers
Experience in Performance / trade analysis, RF Communications Systems, Antenna Design, RF Test/Evaluation, and/or System-level RF performance analysis
Experience in design of active and passive RF hardware, performing cascaded analyses, link and gain/loss budgets, and/or using simulation tools to evaluate hardware designs.
RF performance simulation (ADS, AWR, SystemVue, or equivalent) and/or Full-Wave simulation experience (CST, HFSS, or equivalent)
To meet requirements of the program/customer, this position requires the selected employee to be a U.S. Citizen.
Qualified applicants must possess at minimum a currently Active Secret security clearance to be considered.
Selected candidates will be required to obtain, and maintain, a government issued Top Secret for long term employment on this program.

RF design experience including knowledge of power amplifiers, microwave integrated circuit design and RF measurement techniques
Experience with RF parts selection and evaluation
Demonstrated understanding of RF test equipment (Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generator, etc.)
Ability to design and plan for designs to experience flight environments (vibration, temperature, multipaction, corona)
Vendor interface experience, including evaluating vendor solutions
Vendor spec writing and procurement experience
