Leading engineering of Hardware Defined Radio (HDR) and Software Defined Radio (SDR) systems
Providing subject matter expertise (SME) on HDR and SDR systems and cryptographic subsystems
Supporting NIWC Pacific Tactical Data Link (TDL) project
Bachelor of science degree from an accredited college or university in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or other related engineering or computer science discipline
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Radio Frequency (RF) and Electronic Warfare (EW) to include dynamic modeling and simulation expertise, Hands-on tactical RF system experience applying engineering principles in designing, and testing these tactical systems in a Hardware-in-the-Loop laboratory environment
Performing Systems Integration and Complex system analysis as well as gathering and analyzing data to determine system requirements
Developing work plans and estimates as they relate to systems integration work tasks and resources
Management of integration, test, installation, performance checks, inspections, and training of Tactical Data Link (TDL) systems (domestically, international, and remote locations).
Experience in software development and testing utilizing MIL-STD-6016, MIL-STD-3011, STANAG 5516, STANAG 5522, and integrating Joint Range Extension (Jilli) capability onto U.S. and foreign military platforms.
Drafting technical instructions, engineering plans, technical designs, other systems integration, design, test and evaluation related documents
Five (5) years experience in management of the research, design, development, test, evaluation, and integration of various communication systems at the System Integration
Five (5) years experience in Facility/Combined Test Bed (SIF/CTB), the Waveform Test Facility (WTF), or in a similar lab environment
Five (5) years experience in the operations and management of AEGIS Systems, or experience in Satellite Tactical Data Link (TDL) Systems, Joint Range Extension Applications Protocol (JREAP), Link-22 Data Link Processor (DLP) or similar technical experience to the aforementioned systems
Five (5) years experience in Testing and certification of JTRS tactical RF systems in a laboratory environment
