About The Position

The RF Engineer for Electronic Warfare at VSolvit will work on various airborne electronic warfare programs and projects at the Naval Base Ventura County, specifically within the Electronic Warfare Department. The role involves research, development, testing, evaluation, and fielding of electronic warfare technologies, primarily in laboratory settings with some outdoor testing. Candidates should possess a strong theoretical background complemented by hands-on experience in electronic warfare systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Minimum of 6 years experience in EWDS lab with various EW technologies.
• 6+ years of experience with Microsoft Office, including ACCESS, EXCEL, and PowerPoint.
• 10+ years of experience in TACAIR electronic surveillance and radar warning systems.

Nice To Haves

• BSEE or BS in Physics preferred.
• 10+ years of Electronic Warfare system development and support experience.
• Knowledge of ALR-66 electronic surveillance systems.
• Knowledge of ALR-66 Radar warning systems.
• Strong and broad radar and antenna knowledge.
• Experience working with Navy Electronic Warfare systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and development for airborne electronic warfare programs.
• Test and evaluate electronic warfare technologies in laboratory and field settings.
• Document findings and present solutions related to electronic warfare systems.
• Collaborate with team members to support Joint Strong Force protection programs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electronic warfare systems.
